This tennis vacation is a coordinated group tennis trip available to all adult levels of tennis players. This trip includes all-inclusive amenities, a group coordinator for the entire vacation, plus USPTA Tennis Pros provide group drills and play each morning. This resort has 6 new hard tennis courts for our enjoyment and 4 of them are reserved for our group every morning from 8:30am-11:30am!

The price for the week for a Double Occupancy Superior Room is $1,496 per person. No single occupancy rooms available.

This price does NOT include air. You are responsible for booking your own air to Zihuantanejo International Airport and contacting us with your flight information. You can fly directly to Zihuantanejo from - Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis, or Chicago.

Payment Info

Your deposit for this vacation is due upon sign up and the amount is $198.60 plus $100 deposit for the tennis fee, so $298.60 total will be due on signup. The $60 Club Med resort fee is NON REFUNDABLE. You will receive an email from ACE Travel Pros, LLC regarding payment for your tennis fee. If you think you may need to cancel for any reason, you need to buy Travel Insurance. Contact Jo or CLICK HERE to get a quote.
A second payment of $693.00 to Club Med is due by November 1, 2024. Payment will be directly to Club Med via their secure online payment form. I will email everyone for this payment about a week before to let you know payment is coming up and you can pay the balance due or the total of your remaining balance if you would like.
The tennis fee payment to ACE Travel Pros, LLC: the balance of $450 is due by October 1, 2024. With late sign ups, all fees are due upon registration. An email from ACE Travel Pros, LLC will be sent to you regarding this payment.
A final payment of $554.40 + $50 for transfers, $604.40 total to Club Med is due December 30, 2024. The same payment form directly to Club Med will be used. Your full balance along with any other extras will be due at this time.

Cancellation Policies

If you make a deposit and cancel before 120 days out, you can get your deposit back; however, there is a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds after 120 days out from the vacation. If you think you might need to cancel after that, you should purchase TRAVEL INSURANCE to cover your "cancel for any reason". This option must be purchased before 21 days after deposit is made. A link will be provided via email for you to choose an option for this once you sign up or you can click the link highlighted above to view the options.

Accommodations

All our rooms are located in the same area. The rooms are Superior Beach Side rooms, double occupancy located close to the beach. No single occupancy.
Rooms also have included all your basics including shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, and an iron.
Plugs are the same as in the U.S.

Daily Tennis

Play tennis Sunday through Friday of our vacation which includes FUN group drills on reserved courts with our USPTA tennis pros (and/or an assistant) and group doubles play on the pros’ day off. Please remember, this is vacation tennis and we hope you still take away some fun information too! This is not the same as drills at your local club, so please be prepared for the fun that the tennis pros will bring you, no matter what the numbers! Also, please note that you should know how to play tennis before signing up for this vacation.
Also, enjoy afternoon tournaments with the local Club Med pros and other players from all over the world.
Beach tennis is also on the agenda!
The service fee is $550 per person for the week. This fee includes (but not limited to) participation in the tennis program, cost of equipment, rental of the tennis courts, USPTA certified tennis pros to run the programs, on-site coordination of the group, any tips for the on-site Club Med staff, and any additional supplies that need to be brought to the resort.

Resort Amenities

The all-inclusive resort provides all your food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, daily tennis tournaments in the afternoon (which we participate in some days), lots of land sports, fitness room, yoga, all non-motorized water sports, beach games, themed-night entertainment and so much more!
There are 2 restaurants and 3 bars, along with an exclusive wine and premium liquor bar (at extra cost).
There is also on on-site spa for those that require a nice beach massage, and an excursion office for day trips to many other activities; such as dive trips, fishing excursions, etc.
Every Tuesday at this resort, there is a Kayak excursion to Ixtapa Island where you kayak over and back to the island for the sunset! It's a beautiful experience so we need to sign up in advance when we get there!

Laundry services are available at an additional cost.
Free basic WIFI is available with premium available for an additional price payable at the resort.
The use of tropical mosquito repellents for the skin and clothing is recommended, just in case. Please use ocean friendly, also, with your sunscreen (no OXYBENZONE).
The Resort has a resident nurse.

Group Coordinator

Jo Johnson is the owner of ACE Travel Pros, LLC. Jo is the travel agent and serves as the group coordinator for your vacation. Jo provides travel services for your vacation questions along with coordinating travel for the group and working with the tennis pros to make sure we provide the best tennis experience for your VACATION TENNIS!

Jo also coordinates group lunches, dinners, beach tennis, snorkeling or sailing outings, and extra outside excursions if you would like to explore more!

Jo will also keep the group updated on the latest travel protocols to Mexico and to the resort via email.
